Because you are my friendBecause you are my friend, my life is enriched in a myriad of ways.Like a cool zephyr on a sweltry twenty-four hours, like a beam of sunlight separating glaring clouds, you lift me up.In good times, we soar, like weightless balloonsover Ne rainbows. In bad times, you are comforting balmfor my pummeled soul.I learn so much from you ; you help me see old things in new ways.I admiration if you are awareof the bright seeds you are seeding in me.I 'm a better individual for cognizing you, so that everyone I interact withis touched by your good consequence on me.You relax me, review me, regenerate me.Your big bosom envelops mein joy and love and peace.May your life be filledwith eye-popping approvals, merely as I am blessedby being your friend.By Joanna Fuchs

Today I found a friend who knew everything I felt she knew my failing and the jobs I 've been dealt. She understood my admirations and listened to my dreams, she listened to how I felt about life and love and knew what it all agencies. Not one time did she disrupt me or state me I was incorrect she understood what I was traveling through and promised she 'd remain long. I reached out to this friend, to demo her that I care to draw her close and allow her cognize how much I need her there. I went to keep her manus to draw her a spot close and I realized this perfect friend I found was nil but a mirror.

To My Worthy Friend, Master T. Lewes.

Sees non my friend, what a deep snow Candies our state 's woody forehead? The giving subdivision his burden scarce bears, Oppress 'd with snow and frozen cryings ; While the dense rivers easy float, All bound up in an icy coat. Let us run into so! and while this universe In wild flakes now is hurl 'd, Keep we, like nature, the same key, And walk in our sires ' manner. Why any more dramatis personae we an oculus On what may come, non what is near? Why vex ourselves with fright, or hope And cares beyond our horoscope? Who into future times would peer, Looks oft beyond his term set here, And can non travel into those evidences But through a God's acre, which them bounds. Sorrows and suspirations and hunts spend And pull our underside to an terminal, But discreet joys lengthen the rental, Without which life were a disease ; And who this age a griever goes, Doth with his cryings but feed his enemies.

Friendship Poems

My Friend when I think of you. I think of all that we’ve been through. All the times we argue and fight, I know deep inside that it isn’t right. I, so experience bad and alot of hurting. It feels like I’ve fallen from the sky like the rain. I love you dear friend with all of my bosom. But now that you’re gone I’ve fallen apart. I’m acquiring better as the yearss travel by. I wish sometimes this was all a large prevarication. I pray to you every dark. It’s like you’re my fire, a combustion visible radiation. My beloved friend, I miss you alot. I still wonder why you were put in that topographic point. I know you’re in a topographic point much better than here. Watching and assisting me with all of my fright. Our friendship my beloved friend, we will hold to the terminal. Friends til the terminal is what we will be. Someday we’ll be together, together you and me.

Particular Friend Poems “Portrait of a Friend” I can’t give solutions to all of life’s jobs, uncertainties, or frights. But I can listen to you, and together we will seek for replies. I can’t alter your yesteryear with all it’s grief and hurting, nor the hereafter with its untold narratives. But I can be at that place now when you need me to care. I can’t maintain your pess from faltering. I can merely offer my manus that you may hold on it and non fall. Your joys, victory, successes, and felicity are non mine ; Yet I can portion in your laughter. Your determinations in life are non mine to do, nor to justice ; I can merely back up you, promote you, and help you when you ask. I can’t prevent you from falling off from friendly relationship, from your values, from me. I can merely pray for you, speak to you and wait for you. I can’t give you boundaries which I have determined for you, But I can give you the room to alter, room to turn, room to be yourself. I can’t maintain your bosom from interrupting and pain, But I can shout with you and help you pick up the pieces and set them back in topographic point. I can’t tell you who you are. I can merely love you and be your friend. –Unknown

A Friend FROM ABOVE… . I prayed for you before we met, Not cognizing who you’d be. I asked the Lord to direct a friend. One chosen merely for me. I asked that they’d be Godly, With wisdom of His ways. A friend to help and steer me I the problems of these yearss. So frequently in life, we need person To listen while we talk. Person who will non reprobate or justice, But promote us as we walk. The narrow route we choose to follow May sometimes make us stumble. But to hold a friend to catch our autumn, Teaches us to be low. When I asked the Lord to direct a friend, Though many came and went. He gave much more than I of all time asked, For you are the friend He sent.

Two roads diverged in a xanthous wood, And sorry I could non go both And be one traveller, lon I stood And looked down one every bit far as I could To where it bent in the underbrush ; Then took the other, every bit merely as just. And holding possibly the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear. Though as for that, the passing at that place Had worn them truly about the same, And both that forenoon every bit lay. In leave so step had trodden black Oh, I kept the first for another twenty-four hours! Yet cognizing how manner leads on to manner, I doubted if I should of all time come back. I shall be stating this with a suspiration. Somewhere ages and ages therefore ; Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the 1 less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. The Road Not Taken – By Robert Lee Frost

If cryings could construct a staircase and thoughts a memory lane I’d walk right up to heaven and convey you home once more No Farewell words were spoken No clip to state good-bye You were gone before I knew it And merely God knows why. My heart’s still active in unhappiness And secret cryings still flow What it meant to lose you No 1 can of all time cognize. But now I know you want us To mourn for you no more To retrieve all the happy times Life still has much in shop. Since you’ll ne'er be forgotten I pledge to you today A hallowed topographic point within my bosom Is where you’ll ever remain. God knows why, with chilling touch, Death gathers those we love so much, And what now seems so unusual and dim, Will wholly be clear, when we meet Him. Though we ne'er know Where life will take us, I know it’s merely a drive On the wheel. And we ne'er know When decease will agitate us And we wonder how It will experience. So Goodbye my friend. I know I’ll ne'er see you once more. But the clip together Through all the old ages, Will take away these cryings. It’s OK now – Goodbye my friend. I see a batch of things That make me brainsick, And I guess I held on to you, You could hold run off And left – good possibly, But it wasn’t clip And we both knew. So Goodbye My friend. I know I’ll ne'er see you once more. But the love you gave me Through all the old ages Will take away these cryings. I’m OK now – Goodbye my friend. Goodbye, My Friend – By Anonymous

A Family Of Friends

You 'll happen there 's a household of friends populating here, a little group of heads, and Black Marias ; With some of us clever and some of us non, At times you ca n't state us apart. There 's one who is cranky, and one who is diffident, And one who is truly coarse ; And merely when you think you have discovered who 's who, You 'll truly bring out the truth. The truth that we 're all merely a small of each, A group of progressives are we And sometimes I might knock them to you, But do n't of all time strike hard them to me. 'Cause the one thing that ties us together for life- no affair how far we 're apart, Is love for each other, a household of friends A little group of heads, and of Black Marias.
